Triman's Inspection and Test Service Capabilities

External Thread View Vision Inspection System

• This system represents the state-of-the-art inspection of External Threaded Products.

• Provides external thread inspection and certification to System 23 Element Method.

• Inspection of gages; Master Set Thread Plugs, Work Plugs, Plain Diameter Plugs, and X and W tolerances for Threaded Plug Gages.

• English or Metric profile

• Size from 0.0600 inches thru 5.00 inches diameter (or equivalent metric)

• System meets all calibration specifications and measurement requirements; ASME standards, ISO standards, and US Military standards.

• Non-contact optical measurements insure product integrity during the inspection process.

• Fully automated system provides reliability, repeatability, accuracy, and process control.

• Computer generated calibration and measurement product reports and gage certifications provided for each inspection  

Additional Inspection and Test Services offered by Triman  

• Coordinate Measuring Machine: Utilizing our CMM we offer an inspection service able to handle a work piece up to 18”W x 20” D x 16” H; providing detailed reports of the inspection along with computer generated printouts of the features measured.
• Thread Inspection to System 22 Single Element Method: All of the thread elements and characteristics necessary to insure the integrity of assembly and those called out in  (FED-STD-H28, MIL-S-8879, MIL-S-7742, ASME B1 series) specifications, will have detailed reports of the features measured.
• Mechanical  Inspections: Performed using all calibrated instruments as regulated through our ISO certified calibration system. Other instruments used for testing are a Hardness Tester for superficial hardness testing and an Optical Comparator equipped with both 10x and 20x lens. Inspections will be supported by full inspection and test reports.
